Well, here we go.
Another thing I dabble in is photography. This started as a way to build my own reference library, but eventually I started messing around with some of the pictures. I had heard about lomography, a branch of photography that embraces light leaks, distortion, cheap lenses, and unpredictable processing. It became a minor mission to try to simulate this aesthetic digitally, using homemade textures and light leak overlays, channel filters, and judicious use of the difference blending mode. Not sure how successful they are, but it was fun.
